Order of Melchizedek
Workshop & Ordinations to follow service at 2pm.
Rev. Daniel Chesbro will conduct a Workshop and Ordinations into the Order of Melchizedek. All are welcome – there are no prerequisites. Arrive early to complete registration. Investment: $300 (cash or check). For information call Jim: 612-735-2570.

Dan was born in Groton, Connecticut on August 22, 1944. His intuitive abilities awakened in childhood with dreams and “feelings” of guidance. As a college student at the University of Connecticut, experiences guided him to pursue a ministerial career. Following seminary training at Andover Newton Theological School, Crozer Seminary, and Colgate Divinity School, Rev. Chesbro became an American Baptists Minister serving congregations in Boston, Philadelphia, and Rochester & Webster, New York. At age 33 he began traveling to spiritual conferences teaching, counseling, lecturing and appearing on radio and television. For several years he hosted a cable television program called, “The Open Door”. His work has taken him all over the United States, to Canada, Europe, India, Tibet and Egypt.
In 1980 he founded a non-denominational church, Sanctuary of the Beloved, and in 1983, established the educational corporation, Visions of Tomorrow, which sponsored conferences at Geneseo State College, New York beginning in the summer of 1985. He re-established the ancient Order of Melchizedek in 1986, which now has about 17,000 men and women of every race and from a great many religious disciplines. The Order of Melchizedek does not discriminate by race, age, gender, religion, lifestyle, etc., but is an unconditional love response to world service. The main function of the Order is to teach love and to heal in this period of the transformation on earth. Rev. Chesbro has been ordaining individuals at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community every year since the late 1980's (with the exception of the pandemic period) and was invited to be the pastor.
The Old Testament prophet, Samuel, created the School for the Prophets to further the sacred teachings of Melchizedek. It remained a cornerstone for the education and dissemination of the ancient wisdom for centuries. The Essene community based its creation on the teachings of Melchizedek, the Teacher of Righteousness. Rev. Chesbro has established a School for the Prophets to provide a foundation for the teachings of Melchizedek in the Age of Aquarius, and to create a body of teachers to offer the world community access to the ancient and present truths. The course is based mostly on the channeled teachings of Edgar Cayce and is not limited to the Judeo/Christian history or myths.
Dan combines sensitive intuitive abilities with a ministerial background, psychological training, metaphysical knowledge and a wonderful sense of humor to teach, guide and enhance the lives of those he encounters. He encourages others to self-love, self-confidence, balance and the pursuit of their Higher Spiritual Self. Persons form all backgrounds, professions and walks of life on both sides of the Atlantic and coast to coast have consulted with him. Consultations have included personality; health; economics; personal problems; career; communication with the deceased; and spiritual matters in the past, present, or future. As a minister, Rev. Chesbro has had years of counseling experience in personal, marital, and family areas, and has combined this with an intuitive and psychic sense, helping many people to a better and more satisfying life.

Before our time together, stay to connect and be in community with other like-minded souls in our uplifting space. We’ll have tea and light treats available, and an open, welcoming environment for anyone who feels called to stay, mingle, meet others and share energy. Let’s raise our vibration together!

Walk-ins welcome! You don't have to be an LHSC member or join this Meetup to attend. Don't be discouraged if there aren't many RSVPs; there are lots of folks who aren't on Meetup who will be there too!
