LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Brookhaven State Park!

Join us as we kick off our 2026 season with an LI‑DOG Pack Walk™ at Brookhaven State Park on Saturday, March 21st! Our Pack Walks —fun, friendly group on‑leash walks—are a great way to explore Long Island’s beautiful parks with your dog while meeting fellow dog lovers.

About the Park
Brookhaven State Park, located in Ridge in Suffolk County, spans more than 1,638 acres. The park features a large stretch of the Long Island Pine Barrens along with scattered wetlands, offering a peaceful and scenic setting for our spring walk.

The Trail
We’ll follow the Brookhaven Short Loop Trail, a 1.8‑mile loop that is considered an easy, wide, and flat route. While it typically takes about 34 minutes to complete, our group will move at a relaxed pace with a few stops so everyone can catch up and the dogs can take water breaks.

Pack Walk™ Guidelines
To keep the walk safe and enjoyable for all:

• Dogs must remain leashed at all times.
• No retractable leashes, as they can cause tangles in a group.
• Please bring poop bags—clean‑up is required.
• Also, don't forget to bring water for yourself and your dog.

Arrival
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in so we can begin the walk on time.
