One of our favorite LI‑DOG Pack Walks™ of the season is back, and we’re ready to have a pawsitively amazing time!

Old Westbury Gardens is once again opening its gorgeous estate grounds to people and their pups for their Spring "Dog Days" Weekend - which runs Sat., April 18th and Sun., April 19th - the perfect chance to shake off winter and spring into adventure!

🐶 Dog-Friendly Weekend Highlights

Saturday, April 18th – Spring "Dog Days" Weekend & Dog Festival (10am – 6pm)
Rescues, advocacy groups like LI-DOG, and vendors offering treats, toys, and gear — it’s basically a doggie dream mall.

Starting at 11am, LI-DOG will lead a guided, one‑hour Pack Walk™,
through the blooming, English‑themed gardens. Expect beautiful scenery, fresh spring air, and plenty of sniff‑worthy stops for your four‑legged explorers.

• Easy, mostly flat terrain (no need to huff and puff)
• Option to shorten the route if your pup prefers a lighter trot
• Endless photo ops for those Instagram‑worthy pup‑arazzi moments
• Please bring poop bags — let’s keep the gardens looking paw‑fect
• Please NO RETRACTABLE leashes

Sunday, April 19th

• The grounds are once open again from 10am - 6pm, for you and your dog to explore on your own! There will be no vendors on Sunday.

🎟 Registration & Raffle for LI-DOG Pack Walk™
The Pack Walk™ is free, but please sign in when you arrive.

Registrants can donate for a chance to win a raffle basket stuffed with toys and treats — a real bow‑WOW of a prize.

All proceeds support LI‑DOG’s mission to expand dog access to Long Island parks and beaches.

📌 Important Rules
To keep the day safe and enjoyable for every pup and person:

• Dogs must remain on‑leash at all times
• Dogs are not allowed in the Walled Garden
• Please keep pups out of the daffodils — they’re beautiful but not for pawsing in
• Dogs are not permitted inside any buildings

Old Westbury Gardens' Spring Dog Days Weekend runs both Saturday & Sunday, April 18th and 19th.

🎫 Admission
Except for OWG members and library pass holders, all tickets must be purchased in advance through the Old Westbury Gardens Website.

• Adults: $22
• Seniors (62+) & full‑time students: $20
• Children 7–17: $12
• Members, children 6 & under, and all four‑legged visitors: free
