Presidential Townhall with Josh Smith and Chase Oliver

Here at Liberty on the Rocks we don't usually focus on elections or electoral politics. But electoral politics still matter. We decided to check back in with the state of the Libertarian Party. We are having a friendly townhall debate between two of the Libertarian Party presidential candidates for the 2024 election.

Josh Smith:

Josh Smith is the former Vice-Chair of the Libertarian Party. He was the runner up candidate for LNC Chair in both 2018 and 2020, and was one of the co-founders of the Mises Caucus. He currently hosts the Break the Cycle Podcast.

Chase Oliver:

Chase is longtime Libertarian activist. Chase ran for Congress in 2020 and was dubbed “…the most influential Libertarian in America…” by Rolling Stone, following his 2022 Georgia Senate campaign where he was largely credited with forcing a run off election between the major party candidates.
