What we’re about
Join us for our weekly night of board games in Long Island City at Focal Point! We're a friendly group of people who play games every Thursday. We formerly met at Bierocracy from 2017 through 2021 and a few different venues after that. Now, we’re at a wonderful place called Focal Point!
Focal Point is a chill and relaxed bar/brewery with lots of space for gaming. The bar also has an outdoor tent and open outdoor tables for nice weather days. The venue does not serve its own food, but you can bring in any outside food you like and there are multiple good dinner options in the surrounding area!
At the meetup, we play a variety of games: worker placement, social deduction, engine builders, party games, area control, and more. If these terms sound completely new to you, no worries - we are always glad to teach. You might just learn something and have a little fun in the process :)
Feel free to bring any of your own games but also don’t worry if you don’t. We have plenty of games to go around! Hope to see you soon!!
