Life After Harmful Religion
Details
This event is part of the Fire Keepers Circle:
Life After Harmful Religion community - a supportive space for women navigating the lingering effects of harmful religion and purity culture.
Many women leave religion, but still struggle with:
• guilt and shame that won’t go away
• chronic self-doubt and second-guessing
• loneliness and loss of community
• difficulty trusting themselves
• purity culture conditioning
• figuring out who they are outside the roles and rules they were taught
This gathering is designed to offer a grounded, emotionally safe space to explore some of these experiences alongside women who truly understand them.
During the event, we’ll explore themes like:
✨ rebuilding self-trust
✨ healing shame and conditioning
✨ identity after religion
✨ emotional safety and belonging
✨ reconnecting with yourself after years of self-suppression
The online gathering will include:
• guided conversation and reflection
• emotional support and connection
• some Mind Shifting work around guilt, shame, and conditioning
• space to ask questions and share experiences
• an introduction to the ongoing Life After Harmful
Religion membership community for women wanting deeper ongoing support and connection
This is not therapy, preaching, debate, or performative self-help.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You do not need to explain or justify your experience.
You do not need to perform healing.
This is simply a supportive space to explore healing, connection, and rebuilding after harmful religion — together.
Please bring a pen and paper and have a quiet space where you can to be involved.
