Life: Gen XY is an active, welcoming community for people who enjoy getting out, trying new experiences, and building genuine friendships. While the group is centred around Generation XY, people of all generations are welcome to join. Whether you're looking to expand your social circle, meet like-minded people, or simply enjoy great company, this group offers a relaxed and friendly environment where everyone can connect through shared interests.
To make sure everyone has a voice, we'll hold a monthly poll where members can vote on the activities they'd most like to do the following month. It's a fun, inclusive way to plan events together and ensure there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Adults Only (18+). Life: Gen XY is an adults-only group for people aged 18 and over. While our focus is on Gen XY, all adults are welcome to join if they enjoy the group's friendly, social atmosphere. This is a space for adults to unwind, relax, reset from the demands of everyday life, build genuine friendships, and enjoy activities together in a respectful and welcoming environment.
Please follow these group rules:
1. Be respectful and kind. Treat every member with courtesy, even when you disagree.
2. Keep it Gen XY focused. Although all generations are welcome, posts and conversations should relate to Gen XY life, interests, experiences, and meetup activities.
3. No hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination. Everyone should feel safe and welcome here.
4. No spam or excessive self-promotion. Sales posts, promotions, and outside links are not allowed unless approved by an admin.
5. Respect privacy. Do not share anyone’s personal information, photos, or messages without permission.
6. Keep content appropriate. Avoid offensive, graphic, or overly political content that may disrupt the group.
7. Be genuine and participate. We encourage friendly conversation, meetup ideas, and positive engagement.
8. Follow admin guidance. Admins may remove posts or members that do not align with the purpose of the group.
9. By joining and participating, you agree to help keep this a friendly, welcoming community for everyone.
