We will start the day picking blueberries at Blue Basket Farms in Milton.

What to bring:
*Closed-toed shoes are recommended. Fields can be wet/muddy. The farm is home to many critters, this includes ants.
*Sunscreen. Blueberries love the sun, there is no shade in the fields.
*Bug spray. As the temperature heats during the day and cools in the evening the more knats and mosquitos emerge.
*WATER. Stay hydrated! Know your Limits! The Florida heat is no joke!

Upon arrival do not stop at the stand. Slowly proceed following the parking signs that apply to your visit. After parking you may check in at the stand to get a basket.
Do not block the driveway. Follow all traffic/parking signs, or ask a parking staff member (if applicable).

We will depart from Blue Basket Farms around 9 AM and head towards the Blackwater Heritage Trail meeting at Coosie's Shack arriving around 9:30 AM. The trail is about 18 miles out and back. Go at your pace and do however many miles you are comfortable with. It's a paved, dedicated flat trail for biking, walking, and running.
This trail does cross main roads that will require your attention but it's a safe trail with restrooms, seats, and tables along the way.
