Dear Beautiful Soul,
I have been holding something sacred and I am finally ready to share it with you.
I would like to personally invite you to something I have been dreaming into existence for a while now — a gathering unlike anything you may have experienced before.
I am calling it Sanctuary Dance "Lit" Dance/Book Club — and it is equal parts book club, dance floor, sacred circle, and soul medicine.
Here is what we are doing:
We are reading, dancing, and diving deep into the world of Mary Magdalene — not the myth, not the misrepresentation, but the real, radical, luminous woman whose gospel was buried for nearly two thousand years and has only recently been recovered.
Her teachings are about love, inner knowing, sacred embodiment, and the divine that lives inside each of us. And honestly? We need them right now.
Over 7 glorious weeks we will gather together — in community, in conversation, in movement — to explore her seven sacred powers through the lens of Meggan Watterson's breathtaking work.
We will read together. We will discuss together. We will dance it into our bodies so it stops being just words on a page and becomes something we actually live.
This is for you if you have ever felt that spirituality should feel like coming home rather than following rules.
This is for you if you love books and also love to move.
This is for you if you are curious about the sacred feminine, about what was left out of the story we were all told, and about what becomes possible when women — and all people — are free to know the divine from the inside out.
No dance experience needed.
No theological background required.
Only a willingness to show up, open up, and let something in.
