As we work increasingly with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools, valuable prompts, conversations (including their context), ideas, and links quickly become scattered across different sessions and platforms. In this seminar, we’ll explore how Prompo helps turn these fragmented AI interactions into structured knowledge. We’ll look at practical ways to capture, organize, categorize, and reuse AI-related resources, creating a more systematic personal workflow for working with multiple AI tools over time. Traditional keyword search retrieves documents containing the exact words entered by the user. Semantic search goes further by understanding the meaning and intent behind a query, allowing it to find relevant content even when different terminology is used. In this practical meetup, we will explore how semantic search works and implement it using MongoDB and Voyage AI. We will introduce vector embeddings, embedding models, multidimensional vector spaces, and similarity measurements such as cosine similarity, Euclidean distance, and dot product. Using Python, Voyage AI, and MongoDB Atlas, we will generate embeddings for document data, store them directly alongside MongoDB documents, create a vector search index, convert user queries into embeddings, and execute semantic searches. We will also examine how reranking models improve the ordering and relevance of the initial search results.

Come with questions; there will be time for discussion. Prior knowledge is not required. Whether you're brand new to MongoDB and Semantic Search or already using it daily, you'll leave with practical tools you can apply right away.
