About us
A party with a purpose, is the best form of entertainment!
Welcome to Light in the Dark Celtic Pagans & Esoteric Community.
Also offering Classes, Workshops, and Events in the Healing Arts:
Meditation, Vibrational Healing, Reiki, and Shamanic Healing.
This group was created for those with an eclectic Spirituality who're coming from a Celtic, Esoteric & Celtic Christian, Hindu, Theosophical, Shamanic, Buddhist, Pagan or 'Recovering Christian' backgrounds.
We've been doing casual potlucks with intention burning bowl ceremonies for over seven years now and many people have been able to get their miracles, and deepest desires fulfilled; maybe you can too, what miracle do you need in your life that would make it better, or more 'livable'? We assist normal everyday people, mystics & natural Shamans to 'live more abundantly'. Providing intention ceremonies, information and communion with eclectic souls who believe in something greater than ourselves.
We have events running every 6 weeks for different Celtic religious holidays throughout the year that are posted under the group's 'events' section. We celebrate with full moons, Equinoxes, Solstices, and more. We structure them as potlucks, so whatever your favorite dish, desert, or bottle of wine will be welcomed. You may also bring an offering of dried flowers, incense, or sage to burn in outdoors under the stars. Holidays below...
We eat in our great room and converse about Celtic beliefs, esoteric and Celtic Christianity, multiple religions and philosophies, and religious mysticism, general metaphysics, magic, miracles, Angels, and quantum physics including Interdimensional doorways, different dimensions and timelines.
MORE GROUP INFORMATION:
We celebrate annual Celtic Christian and Celtic holidays alike: Imbolc, Easter/Spring Equinox, Beltane/May Day, Summer Solstice, Mabon/Thanksgiving, Samhain/ Halloween, and Christmas/Yule holidays in addition to other events. We discuss all things paranormal, extraterrestrial, Spiritual/scientific, Theosophical, metaphysical, ancient practices/ancestors, and Magickal practices while we connect at group potluck gatherings! Come join us to eat, drink, dance, & drum, or conduct Burning Bowl Celebrations around the fire! We understand that there is strength in numbers when manifesting our desires, so we gather with like-minded folk to co-create, and celebrate life and all of its possibilities!
We hope to see you soon!
More about Light in the Dark...
Light in the Dark Community is a Private group, and we provide a 'safe and Sacred space' for those who want to live in a state of Christ consciousness; we observe the many individual diverse Spiritual, metaphysical, or religious practices of the attendees at our Burning Bowls (e.g.: communion, written prayers, meditation on individual purposes, and use of candles etc.).
We eat a group Potluck dinner, visit, introduce ourselves, talk about the ritual and manifestation topics, write our private prayer intentions down, then we burn them outside under the moon inside of a paper bag filled with dried fruits, tobacco, and flowers, incense, pinecones, oak leaves, sage, or whatever else is at hand as an offering/ connection to our personal deities, and our divine parent.
Burning Bowl ceremonies invite the conscious loving Universe to the ceremony to assist you in your prayers. Sending your energy into the fire with your intentions can help you focus on your enlightened heart to see what is truly in your way of living your best life. It helps you become still so you can hear your authentic self and create prayerful intentions that are meaningful and filled with purpose. The prayer energy exchanged will also assist you with your commitment to your intentions by giving you gentle reminders from your Spirit guides throughout the year.
At the end we talk, listen to music, and drum and dance if we feel led, and the events can go on through the night for those who wish the celebration to continue...

Ley Lines:
Our location is very near, or right on top of a Ley Line in the earth that connects us to all of the magickal sacred sites around the world, so it is the perfect place to manifest and create our intentions! Our space is a portal, and we have had much paranormal activity here, which makes for interesting meetings, and for effective manifestation to take place!
We discuss Magickal methods from diverse cultures at each burning bowl, and also the history behind the holidays that we celebrate. (All Christian holidays came from the Celtic and other Indigenous Cultures, and we try to keep to the purest form of the holiday that we can honor from our ancestral pasts). We have different attendees educate about their own methods of manifestation practices that have worked for them, so that we in the group become wiser, and more diverse as a result increasing our collective cultural understanding, and tolerance for others.
This community is also for those who do not wish to be linked to groups, covens, cults, or organizations with specific agendas and religious beliefs, or memberships. 'To Each Her, or His Own, is our Motto'. If you like to gather with other like-minded folks to celebrate Celtic, and Spiritual holidays, pray/create intentions, gather, take part in very casual Celtic ceremonies, and manifest as a group, then you will be happy attending our events! We look forward to meeting you to eat, drink, drum, dance and visit with one another for various Celtic holidays throughout the year. See you soon!
We meet on, or near, Celtic Holidays to hang out with other like-minded individuals from similar walks of life! We normally gather for Potlucks to hang out socially for casual Celtic burning bags, for renewal and manifestation; as well as showing gratitude for all of the gifts Spirit brings into our lives daily, after all, there is Strength in numbers when it comes to manifestation! The holidays coincide with new, and full moon cycles to add power to our intentions! Kick back, put your feet up, eat, drink and be merry with like-minded others while creating the life that you deserve! We also drum and dance to music on into the night after the meal and discussion if we feel up to it.

Autumn Equinox Gathering
5609 Dauphine St. New Orleans, 70117, New Orleans, LA, USYou will not want to miss this meeting, as we will be discussing Faith, and what that actually looks like in a day to day practice when you are a Spiritually eclectic believer.
Even in mainstream Christianity believers aren't 100% positive as to what a daily practice looks like, or how it can be included in ones life, but this service will lay out specific rituals for Christo-Pagans to easily incorporate daily to feel connected to the Holy Spirit, the Father, and Christ. This is so you will know that Spirit is Real and your faith can grow. Our Father Desires to answer our prayers, because He knows this will strengthen our faith in Him.Celebrating in a relaxed atmosphere with friends is the best way to learn and grow one's faith in actually feeling Jesus' presence in our lives. I look forward to sharing communion with you on your spiritual journey. Feel free to bring a guest with you. Refreshments served.
Namaste.Fellowship is important:
Get to know other 'different folk kind' that you'll actually have things in common with, as this journey can be a lonely one without regular interaction with like-minded believers. We all reach milestones and answered prayers in our daily lives that we want to be able to share with others who can commiserate and empathize with us, and this is important second only to hearing Jesus' words explained in a way we may understand clearly.**************************
Defining Christo-Pagan beliefs:
Christo-Pagans may identify as Christians, Shamans, Walkins, Wiccans, Witches, Druids, Native Healers, or other; as well as Yogis, Hindus, and Buddhists. Neo-Pagans generally worship the Christian God, or the Father as Jesus called Him, or a polytheistic blend, as well as the Monad in Gnosticism.Meetups involve activities such as spiritual faith discussions, meditation, mindfulness practice, and the occasional burning bowl ceremony with a blend of Shamanic, Pagan, and Christian ritual practices.
Christo-Paganism, or Neo-Paganism is a set of beliefs held by some neopagans that encompasses teachings from Christianity, Paganism, and Shamanic traditions alike. The New Orleans Chapter focuses on the blending the Gods and Goddesses by attributes, rather than their specific names, and thereby joining the Gods of the Old with Gods of the modern world, as the Gods names have changed over the course of time, but the meaning they bring us remains the same, and constant.
Parvati has been a Christian minister since 1985, an enlightened Yogi since 1995, and a Psychic, Healer, and Shaman since 1999. She was an intuitive child prophet and became a Walkin at the age of eight.
