Welcome to Lines and Laughs, a casual space for people who want to draw together and have fun doing it. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or you've been sketching for years, this group is for you. We meet regularly to work on sketching skills in a low-pressure environment where the goal is to improve at your own pace while enjoying the company of other people who appreciate drawing.
Each meetup includes guided sketching sessions where we'll cover different techniques and subjects, from basic shapes and proportions to more complex stuff like figure drawing and perspective. We keep things light and encouraging—there's no judgment here, just people trying to get better and make some art together. You'll get feedback if you want it, tips from more experienced folks, and mostly just the satisfaction of putting pencil to paper.
Bring whatever supplies you're comfortable with and show up ready to draw. This is really about building a community of people who love the creative process and want to improve their skills while making new friends.
