Pembroke Sketch & Giggles: Comedy Drawing Workshop

Join us for an afternoon of drawing and laughter at Pembroke Sketch & Giggles, a comedy drawing workshop for anyone who loves to doodle, joke around, or just wants to have fun with a pencil in their hand. Whether you're a confident artist or someone who hasn't drawn since elementary school, this workshop is designed to be welcoming and low-pressure. We'll explore drawing techniques that work especially well for comedy—exaggeration, character design, and visual humor—and you'll get to share your work with a supportive group of fellow artists.

Expect a mix of guided exercises, hands-on practice time, and plenty of opportunities to crack jokes and laugh at each other's creations (in the best way). No experience is necessary, and there's truly no such thing as "bad" drawings here. We'll provide all the basic materials you need, though feel free to bring your favorite pens or pencils if you have ones you love working with.

This is a great way to meet other people in our drawing community, pick up some new skills, and spend a couple of hours doing something creative without taking yourself too seriously.
