About us

Lines of Connection is a sketching community where people of all skill levels come together to draw, share work, and support each other. Whether you're just picking up a pencil for the first time or you've been sketching for years, this is a space where your work matters and your voice is heard. We meet regularly to sketch together, talk about what we're working on, and offer genuine feedback and encouragement. There's no judgment here—just people who love to draw and want to grow alongside others who do too.

What makes this group special is that we focus on the human connection as much as the art itself. Sketching can feel isolating, especially when you're learning or going through a creative block. We created Lines of Connection because we believe artists do better when they're part of a community. We talk about our creative struggles, celebrate wins no matter how small, and help each other push past self-doubt. You'll find sketchers here working in different styles and mediums, exploring everything from quick gesture drawings to detailed studies, and everyone's approach is valued equally.

If you've ever wanted a regular group of people who understand why you draw and who'll cheer you on, this is it. Come as you are, bring whatever you're working on, and connect with others who get it. We'd love to have you join us.
