This is THE event! The big one. The main stage. Open to EVERYONE—whether you’re learning a new language or just love meeting people from different backgrounds. Even if you only speak English, but you're open-minded, curious, and down for a fun night, this is your spot! 🌍✨

This biweekly meetup (2nd & 4th Tuesdays) is your chance to practice regularly, gain confidence, and actually use the language in real conversations. Whether you’re here for structured exercises or just some casual convo, this is the place to speak more, learn more, and have fun while doing it!

### What to Expect at the Bi-Weekly Spanish/English Practice Meetup:
✅ Hi Hellos & Icebreaker (15 min) – No awkward silences here! We kick things off with a fun, quick game to get everyone talking (think “Two Truths and a Lie” or “Speed Introductions”).
✅ Conversación Practice (45 min) – A mix of structured and free-flowing discussions:
- Themed chats on fun, useful topics like travel, food, and daily life.
- Role-playing situations (ordering tacos, making a reservation, asking for directions). You’ll switch partners every 2–5 minutes to keep things fresh!
- 1 frase de historia chain game – Each person adds one full sentence to an ongoing story, switching between Spanish and English. It’s a great way to practice on the fly and see where the story takes us!
- Free-flowing conversations – Now it's time to breathe, move around, and chat with different people at your own pace. Share your language goals—whether it's improving pronunciation, building confidence, or just speaking more—so others can help you along the way!

If you’re meeting someone new and want to stay connected, we recommend sharing your Discord instead of your phone number (way easier, way safer). But hey, if you’re cool swapping contact info, that’s totally up to you—just make sure you feel comfortable first.
And real talk—if anything ever feels off or makes you uncomfortable, don’t hesitate. Come find us right away. We’ll step in, have your back, and make sure this space stays safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.

Serás recibido por uno de nosotros en el evento (Theresa y Emmanuel o Samuel e Isaac para el encuentro en español/inglés, Taz para el encuentro de los Primeros Martes Abiertos). ¡Somos tus guardianes de la paz y buenas vibras, amantes de los idiomas! (Porque alguien tiene que mantener el ambiente genial, ¿verdad?)
Los encuentros se centran en aprender, compartir y practicar juntos en un espacio divertido, de apoyo y libre de prejuicios. Si vas a conocer a alguien nuevo y quieres mantener el contacto, te recomendamos compartir tu Discord en lugar de tu número de teléfono (mucho más fácil y seguro). Pero si te parece bien intercambiar información de contacto, es tu decisión; solo asegúrate de sentirte cómodo primero.
