Lions Gate Chorus is actively auditioning people in the Greater Vancouver Area who identify as women who love to sing and perform. You must be willing to join an imperfect family that thrives on a generative growth mindset, is motivated by competition and performance, that is dedicated to excellence in our craft, that is hungry to learn and grow as singers, that is passionate about empowering women, and that truly cares about each other and creating a place of belonging.

Led by Master 700 Director Sandy Marron, tenor of the 2004 International Champion Quartet Brava! We are in a state of constant musical and vocal growth through sound pedagogy and speech-level singing techniques that promote vocal health for life.
World competition is a motivator for us and we are the 2018 and 2020 International Silver Medalists in the largest singing and education organization for women’s a cappella in the barbershop style, Sweet Adelines International.

Lions Gate Chorus is Vancouver's award-winning a cappella chorus and the 2024 Sweet Adelines International Champion, the top honour in women's barbershop harmony.
We compete at the highest levels across Canada and the US as proud members of Sweet Adelines International, and we're always looking for passionate new voices to join us.
We welcome women and non-binary singers from the Greater Vancouver Area who are ready to grow, perform, and compete in a community that's as warm as it is driven.
What to expect at rehearsal: Vocal technique, choreography, music learning, community connection, and a lot of fun, led by our world champion director Sandy Marron and some of the most sought-after coaches in the a cappella world.
We sing in 4-part harmony and every voice finds its home here!
