Join us for our meet-up in the park to discuss AI safety and the recent concerning news of AI systems breaking containment and hacking into other companies. We want to explore what this means for society and what we can do to stop AI from taking over any time soon. Are we doomed to lose to hyper-intelligent multi-agent swarms or is there still something we can do about it?
Everyone is welcome, regardless of their experience level or knowledge of AI. We aim to be as inclusive as possible. This, and all of our other events, are totally free. Bring your friends and a snack and come with an open mind and ready to learn and discuss topics related to AI safety.
We will be discussing the recent OpenAI-Hugging Face incident, and talking about the implications of it and what we might expect in the future. You can also come prepared with a lightning talk of your own if you have something you want to present.
