Woods, Meditation & Pirilampos (fireflies): an evening woodland walk near Lisbon

Join us for a gentle evening walk turning into a magical night!

We’ll wander through the woods of the beautiful Mata de Belas**,** bathed in the soft, mellow glow of sunset, and eventually share a time of silent meditation in contemplation of the natural environment.

As darkness falls, we will gather near the stream to witness nature’s own light show—the enchanting dance of the fireflies (Pirilampos).

Pirilampos are tiny insects of the night that carry a warm, glowing light. They look like glowing fairies that dance in the trees.

Bring comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket/jumper for the night (it can be quite cool). A flashlight will be helpful (a telephone flashlight is ok if you don’t have anything else), to be used sparingly!
