A secret lake in the Sintra forest: Albufeira do Rio da Mula

Length: 6-9 km, Change of level: 155-344 m
This is a beautiful circular walk in the Forest of Sintra. Towering trees will surround us as we circle the lake and venture into the depths of the forest. We will appreciate the rich vegetation of the hills, including cork oaks, oaks and a variety of ferns and shrubs characteristic of this protected landscape. The reservoir, built in the 19th century, played an important role in supplying water to the region. There are two options possible: one is about 3.5 km shorter. We will decide as we go.
As usual, we will do our best to take in the beauty of the landscape that surrounds us, sharing some simple meditation practices.
We expect to walk 3 hours return (this is a circular route), but we will stay out the whole day. The rest of the time will be about the enjoyment of nature and each other's company.

Please don't forget your PACK LUNCH, your water, and some little mat to sit on the grass if you need it.
It is recommended that you wear WALKING SHOES that can keep you more comfortable and safer
