Suncalc Photowalk - Jardim do Principal Real to Pink Street

There are several photographers on Instagram that inspire me to learn and improve, including people in this group. There is one Photographer from the Lisbon area on Instagram, who I am awestruck by his images. The images always seen to catch the right light, fog, action, color, reflections, angles, B&W, styles, mood, and composition.

My goal for this photo walk is to improve my being in the right place at the right time for the light.

Using the Suncalc site I setup a route that that starts at Jardim do Principal Real at 19h00 and ends at the area on R. Do Alecim around 20h20 on the bridge area with the over view of Pink Street.

This route is setup to have the position of the sun to backlight the subject or to be shining directly down a street when we arrive. It is a short walk of about 1.4 km, with 4 areas to get images, mostly downhill, and we end near Pink Street area where we can find beer, wine, and snacks after.

I've uploaded screen shots from the locations and sun positions I used on Suncalc. Most are easy to find.

1. Jardim de Principal Real at 7pm
2. Northwest corner of Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara 7:25pm
3. Igreja das Chagas at 7:50 pm
4. view point of Pink Street at 8:20pm
5. Beer, wine, snacks, unknown time and place.
