Living abroad can be wonderful. Life turns into a daily adventure, where even small things we once took for granted — like a quick trip to the grocery store — suddenly feel high-stakes. Did I ask for bread, or did I accidentally propose to the cashier and request something that’s definitely not for sale?
The truth is, we did this to ourselves. And life abroad becomes a lot more fun once we learn to laugh at the moments that, at the time, we were sure we wanted to forget. Some of them are embarrassing, some traumatic, and some… dare I say, sexy.
We all have stories about the wild things that happened to us abroad. At Expats Anonymous, the comedians share theirs — and if you want, you can share yours too, anonymously or not. Totally up to you.
