This Ericeira Community Connections Group gathering is both for positive tolerant people who are new to the Ericeira area and friendly folks who have been here longer who want to both welcome newcomers, and increase their number of connections with other locals. With the help of the successful Lisbon Community Connection (which helped over 1986+ people to connect), we now organize the first meetup in Ericeira on 18 February 2025.
Location: Sr. Tigre Lounge & Tapas Bar
This events helps to creates new bonds between newcomers to the Ericeira Area and those who have been here for a while in a simple, fun, yet effective way.

Your hosts for this event will be Olaf Jacobson and Alexandra de Clercq, with the help of the amazing team of volunteers from the Lisbon Community Connection Group.

Our events are open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds and ages. You will be surprised to see how many different people come together to connect at these events.

This is not a speed dating/pickup type event. Everyone who attends is entitled to feel safe, not be harassed or pressured. If you experience anything inappropriate, please tell when of the organisers, and we will support you and take action,.

EVENT STRUCTURE:
We will have a structured first sixty minutes with icebreakers aimed at making things easy for people to connect with one another. Then participants are welcome to hang out and socialise as they wish after the structured part of the meeting is over. Drinks are for own expense.

VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers to help us develop the project. From simple things like being early to welcome people, through to PR and graphic design and a website. Let us know if that sounds like you and apply to join the team here
We aim to be a local community of internationally minded people in the heart of Ericeira. You are welcome to be a part of it.

When you sign up to our events we add you to our mailing list if you give us your email address so we can tell you about more free events run by volunteers . If you don't want us to do that don't give us your email.
