Reading: Bring Some Favorite Words to Read Aloud

Our inaugural reading. The meetup structure is as follows:

1. A home cooked meal (usually tasty pasta) and wine are served. Time is given to socialization and chatting.
2. We then take turns reading aloud and listening to each attendee's selected text.
3. Attendees are expected to offer a bit of introduction to their text prior to reading; author, genre, why you like/love it, etc.
4. After each reading comes some time for open response and discussion.

Reading selection guidelines:

1. Text can come anywhere; nothing is out of bounds; it can be from the phonebook if you like.
2. Should be readable within 3-5 minutes.
