DIFFICULTY: about 8 to 8.5 miles with about 1,500 feet elevation gain.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: This hike starts on Chapman Drive which is a gentle 2.6-mile ascent from the trailhead in Boulder Canyon to Realization Point. After Realization Point, we will hike the Ute Trail (which skirts the summit of Flagstaff Mountain) and Boyscout Trail to May’s Point for a fantastic view (where we will take a 15 minute break). Then we will hike back along the Range View and Tenderfoot Trails with views of the Indian Peaks, then back to Chapman Drive. This exact trail is not in alltrails. Here is a link to the map I created in alltrails, which you can download: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/map-february-18-2023-36e51f2

NO 🚫 DOGS: Dogs are not allowed on a portion of the trail.

If you use google maps, you can type in “Chapman Drive Trailhead” for directions. When you pull in off Boulder Canyon, the trailhead parking is on your right.
