With the flatirons providing a stunning backdrop, see the amazing creek and wetlands home of the globally and federally endangered rare Preble's Jumping Mouse that lives here and in the adjacent proposed Meadowlark - Jumping Mouse Open Space at CU South.
This 1.5 hour long nature hike will reveal the wonders of Boulder's gorgeous wetlands habitat located at the South Boulder Creek State Natural Area located immediately south of town.
To hike safely, please bring a mask and we'll discuss whether people want to wear them on the hike.

Bring something tasty to drink and a lawnchair for following hike. We'll either have a tailgate beverage at the trailhead or visit a nearby backyard to unwind after the hike.
