Naneghat, originating from the Satavahana era, served as a vital trade route connecting Junnar and the Konkan region, promoting commerce and cultural interaction. Its thumb-shaped peak, visible from the Nagar-Kalyan highway, draws trekkers and history buffs, emphasizing the area's rich heritage. Naneghat features ancient caves once used by travelers and cisterns for rainwater collection, reflecting past architectural skill and resourcefulness. The trail begins near Vaishakhare village on the Ahmednagar highway and includes waterfalls and lush greenery, particularly vibrant during the monsoon season. Enjoy the stunning views, well-marked trails, and opportunities for nature photography.

Upon reaching Naneghat, we will proceed with our hike towards the Reverse Waterfall. Later, we'll savor a homemade lunch before starting our descent back to the trek's starting point.

Itinerary:
Day 0

• Depart by hired vehicle from Borivali East, Mumbai at 11:30 PM with pickup points at Goregaon, Andheri, Sion, Amar Mahal, Thane, Bhiwandi & Kalyan. (exact locations will be shared with the registered participants)

Day 1

• Reach roadhead & rest in the bus till 05:00 AM.
• Fresh up & breakfast - 1 hour.
• Event briefing & introduction - 15 minutes.
• Ascent trek through Naneghat - 3 -4 hours.
• Relax at the Naneghat Plateau - 30 minutes.
• Hike to Naneghat Reverse waterfall - 1 hour
• Lunch Break at villager's house- 1 hour.
• Descent trek to the roadhead - 3 hours.
• Return journey by bus from base village to Mumbai - 4 hours.
• Day concludes with wonderful memories
