Okeeheelee Park South Trail Longer Distance Walk

Hey All,

We Are Going The Distance This Saturday!

This coming Saturday we will be pushing the distance to 8+ Miles.
Bring a pack and snack if you know you need some food and fluids for this distance.

This is on the South side.
Directly across from the Equestrian Center.

"Okeeheelee" is Seminole for "pretty waters".
This is a peaceful area that is great for walking, running or bike riding. There is something here for the whole family to enjoy! There's sporadic shade throughout the trail but many exposed areas as well. For those wishing to shorten or extend your hike, there are many trail connections in the area to do so.
