Spread your blanket out on our co-founders' land in Purcellville, VA (in the heart of Western Loudoun County), and celebrate that we're growing veggies, opportunities, and really good vibes. The first event of this Live Shows Concerts meetup group with June 8th, 2010 at Wolf Trap Filene Center. We had about 8-10 people join us on that day to see Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull with the opener being Procol Harum. Since that time we have planned over 1000 concert oriented meetup events, with normal group size being around 7 people (all music lovers) who come out to socialize a little before the music starts and between sets.

I have picked Sunday 6/1/2025 as the day for our 15 year picnic. We will meet at the Wolf Trap Meadow Overlook picnic area starting at 4:30 pm. This is two hours before the gates open for one of our favorites Heart, featuring the Ann and Nancy Wilson. The show is already sold out, so you (like me) will have to pay the scalpers to get a ticket. The current price on the ticket resale sites is about $85. I don't have any idea if they will drop in price closer to the show. The alternate or rain out date will be the following Sunday before the Taj Mahal -Keb' Mo show.

Please bring your beverage of choice and some snacks to share. I will bring cake. Hope to see you there. I will post a separate meetup for those planning to go to the Heart show.

Formed in the early 70s Heart led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson have delivered fantastic shows in five decades. Expect to hear rock classics like Crazy on You, Magic Man, and Barracuda, or rock ballads like These Dreams, or Alone, plus a Led Zeppelin tune or two.
