String, Skin & Breath: A cross-cultural musical fusion

Details
Rooted in the SF Bay Area and reaching across continents, this ensemble unites global traditions with contemporary soundscapes. Featuring Latin Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Daniel Riera, Tunisian-born kanun player Arslen Metouii, world-touring drummer Aaron Kierbel, and genre-blending cellist Misha Khalikulov, the band weaves classical, electronic, and folkloric elements into a genre-defying tapestry. With members from acclaimed acts like The Jazz Mafia, Kev Choice, StringQuake, and The April Fishes, their collective experience spans over 30 countries and countless stages.
CONCERT COST: Ticket prices range from about $28 to $39, including the online service fee. NOTE that there are currently a limited number of discounted tickets available (at the approximately $28 price), for seniors, students, and "early bird" buyers, so I'm posting this event earlier than usual for that reason.
TICKETS/SEATING: Buy your own tickets. General admission seating, mainly on folding chairs.
NOTE: This is a small venue; the discounted tickets will likely sell out prior to the concert date.

WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: Unless joining me for dinner beforehand, meet out front of the Red Poppy by no later than 7:00 p.m., when the doors open, so we can get seats together. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and I expect it to go to 9:00 p.m.
HOW TO FIND ME: I'm WF, 5 feet tall, in my 60s, with short salt-and-pepper hair and glasses. I'll send my mobile number to RSVPers prior to the show.
OPTIONAL PRE-SHOW DINNER: At 5:45 p.m. at Chili Cha Cha 2, a Thai restaurant on 24th Street, a short walk from BART and the Red Poppy. The dinner table is limited to six people who don't have a history of no-shows and late cancellations. https://www.chilisf.com/about
TRANSIT/LOCATION: Located within an easy walk of 24th Street BART and assorted Muni bus lines. If you're driving, allow extra time for street parking!
