### The Lineup
- Spanish Horses:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-DVAThpemI
Currently one of my fave bands! Originally formed in Paris and now taking over London, this five-piece brings a mature, atmospheric indie-rock sound. With influences ranging from The Smiths to The Velvet Underground, their sets are known for being cohesive, melodic, and full of raw energy. - August:

Bringing a fresh perspective to the IVW stage, August (by proxy) is one of those newer acts that perfectly embodies why we focus on the independent scene. Expect a sound that is both authentic and captivating. - Jackson Roy:

Known for high-energy performances that bridge the gap between artist and audience, Jackson Roy is a staple of the London underground. If you want to see someone who truly lives for the craft, this is the set to watch.

IVW 2026: Misty Miller, Glass Eel, Anna McLuckie
Morocco Bound, 1A Morocco St, SE1 3HB, London, GB## WE ARE BACK: The Live Music Meetup Returns for 2026!
*** Wednesday 28th January (CORRECTED!) ***
The wait is over—the Live Music Meetup is back for 2026, kicking and screaming! We’re relaunching with a clear mission: to champion the heartbeat of our city by focusing entirely on small independent venues and the incredible artists who deserve the spotlight. While the mainstream gets the noise, the real magic happens in these intimate spaces, and it starts right here.
This event is a proud part of Independent Venue Week 2026, the UK’s annual celebration of the fiercely independent spaces owned and run by people who live for music. I’m backing the venues and the staff who make live performance possible, and I need you to do the same. Let’s show up, support the bar, and prove that the independent scene is louder and stronger than ever.
Leading the charge is the amazing Misty Miller, whose early 2000s classics like "Happy" are absolute staples, alongside the psych-grunge of Glass Eel and the ethereal folk of Anna McLuckie. We’re here to push the newer bands and the legendary independent spirits who keep this culture alive. See you at Morocco Bound—let’s make this comeback unforgettable!

### The Lineup
#### Misty Miller
https://youtu.be/6nFVTqDyWkI?si=LUl-1gjXNVMXrMX9
A true South London icon and a personal favorite of the group! Misty first burst onto the scene as a teenager and has since evolved into one of the most authentic voices in the independent circuit. We'll be treated to her signature raw, honest songwriting—including her absolute classic "Happy," which has been a staple of our playlists for years. After navigating the highs and lows of the industry, she’s back performing on her own terms, and her set is going to be something special.
#### Glass Eel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_jsP18-ek0
The solo project of London’s Alice Western, Glass Eel is a hauntingly beautiful blend of folk, psych, and grunge. Inspired by the "glass eel" phase of life—translucent, fragile, and drifting—Alice’s music captures that feeling of surviving in an uncertain world. Expect shimmering layers and a sound that sticks with you long after the final note.
#### Anna McLuckie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzdmAZvheWs
A Scottish singer-songwriter and master of the Clàrsach (the traditional Celtic harp). Anna brings a world of "contemporary folklore" to the stage. Her music interweaves traditional roots with experimental pop and jazz influences, creating a soundscape that is both ethereal and grounded.
