Welcome to London Live Music. We are a community dedicated to the thrill of musical discovery and supporting independent venues. We thrive on the pure, raw energy of a band in its infancy—those random, intimate gigs where you're one of just a few dozen people in the room.
There is nothing quite like backing an artist early on, feeling that grassroots energy, and then watching them play to thousands at a summer festival knowing you saw them before they hit Radio 1. While we occasionally catch medium-sized acts, our focus is on affordable, grassroots gigs where we can help new artists grow just by showing up. Escape To The City 2026 (Alt-Rock, Indie & Alt-Pop)
The Pioneer Club, Heathland Drive, Harpenden Road, AL3 5AY, St Albans, GBEscape to the City is returning bigger and better! With artists alternating across two stages, this one-day festival is your chance to discover the UK's most exciting up-and-coming indie, alt-pop, and punk acts before they blow up. Don't miss a single beat of this non-stop music marathon.
NOTE: The venue is located in St Albans. Details later on how we're going to meetup to either travel up together or meet in a venue closer to the train station before going to Pioneer Club.
