The Great Escape (and its winter First Fifty preview) is hands down one of my favorite multi-venue festivals, and having Bathing Suits on this bill makes it truly unmissable. To describe Bathing Suits as just "electronic noise pop" is an understatement—they are a force of lyrical and musical thunder, a complete tidal wave of energy that hits you square in the chest. Their frontwoman possesses something genuinely magnetic. Having caught them live a few times now, they defy neat genre tags, but one thing is certain: see them once, and you’ll never forget them.
