Ordinarily, this is a fortnightly pub evening on Tuesdays in Central Liverpool for German speakers, which includes native speakers and learners wishing to practise their German.
On 11th June, however, as part of the Liverpool European Festival, the evening will have a broader scope and will be treated as an open evening showcasing the culture of the German-speaking nations. A knowledge of German will therefore not be necessary for participation (although if you can speak the language and wish to practice you are welcome to do so!).
As such, if you would like to be part of a friendly group of people and experience, amongst other things, German (or Swiss, Austrian or even Luxembourgish) food, music and beer, please join us for the evening.
We are meeting in the Denbigh Castle pub, conveniently located just off Dale St, round the corner from Rigby's and next to Ye Hole in the Wall pub. Address: 10 Hackins Hey, Liverpool L2 2AW.
