Step into Noel Coward’s wonderfully mischievous world as the Off West End Award Winning Northern Comedy Theatre return to Hope Street for their much-loved annual classic comedy slot. This lively revival, starring Steven Arnold (best known as Ashley Peacock), brings Blithe Spirit to life with sharp wit, supernatural surprises, and Coward’s trademark charm.

The story follows Charles Condomine, an author seeking inspiration for his next novel. A séance seems like the perfect creative experiment — until it summons far more than he bargained for. Enter Elvira, the playful and determined spirit of his late first wife, intent on causing havoc in Charles’ new marriage. What follows is a wonderfully chaotic evening full of sharp dialogue, eccentric characters, and ghostly antics.

Cured is a brand new comedy from Liverpool writer and comedian Laurence Clark, produced in partnership with Birds of Paradise. What begins as a well-meaning pilgrimage to Lourdes turns into anything but holy.

Connor Fisher, a young wheelchair-using scally, has absolutely no interest in quiet reflection — he’s only joined the trip to chase Rose, a woman he met in the queue for a disability benefit reassessment. Once onboard, Connor’s chaotic influence pulls his fellow pilgrims wildly off course.

Together they manage to do just about everything the Catholic Church would rather they didn’t.
