Ghosts, History & Highland Horror – The Croft at The Playhouse

Details

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Liverpool Playhouse as we experience The Croft, a chilling and atmospheric thriller inspired by a true Highland story. Set in the remote Scottish Highlands, this haunting play follows Laura and Suzanne as they retreat to a deserted crofter’s hut in the village of Coille Ghillie. Their peaceful getaway soon unravels into a suspenseful journey through time, as the dark history of the croft resurfaces, intertwining past and present in a gripping narrative. With a stellar cast including Liza Goddard (Doctor Who, Bergerac), Caroline Harker (A Touch of Frost), and Gray O’Brien (Coronation Street), The Croft promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Seating
I will be seated in the Circle, seat C7 an excellent vantage point for this immersive performance. If you’d like to join us, we recommend booking seats nearby in the Circle to share the experience together.

Meeting
Let’s meet for a pre-show drink above the Shakespeare Bar opposite the playhouse from 6:00pm. It’s a lovely spot to catch up before the performance begins.
