Secrets, Sighs & Soho Nights – The Midnight Bell

Details
Join us for Matthew Bourne’s The Midnight Bell at the Playhouse on Wednesday 17 September 2025 at 7:30 pm. Set in 1930s London, this award-winning dance‑theatre marvel brings to life the boozy, bittersweet tales of regulars at a Soho pub, their longing, flirtations, heartbreaks and redemption, through Bourne’s signature storytelling and choreography.
Critics are calling it “a boozy, sumptuous dance of hidden feelings.” Master storyteller Bourne has produced some of the most celebrated dance-theatre productions of the last 30 years, including Swan Lake, Cinderella, The Red Shoes, and Edward Scissorhands.
### Seating
I’ll be seated in Circle, seat C7. It’s a lovely position for an immersive view, I suggest you book neighbouring seats for a great shared experience.
### Meeting & Pre‑Show Social
Let’s gather for a friendly pre‑show catch‑up at 18:00, above the Shakespeare pub, directly opposite the Playhouse. Perfect spot for a social drink before we head in together for the 7:30 performance.
