First Taco Tuesday Happy Hour of 2026 at Roxanne’s (Long Beach)
Roxanne's, 1115 E Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA, USLet’s kick off 2026 with Taco Tuesday at Roxanne’s in Long Beach, this is our first happy hour of the year and we want everyone to join us.
We’ll be there on Tuesday, January 13th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Happy hour ends at 7:00 PM, and they offer tacos and tequila specials during happy hour, so try to arrive right at 6:00 PM if you want to catch more of the deals.
Come hungry, grab a couple of tacos, enjoy a drink, and meet some new people. This is a relaxed, social meetup, and it is usually easy to make a friend or two.
Feel free to bring a friend or two. Everyone is welcome as long as you are ready to have a good time and be social.
## Timeline
- 6:00 PM: Meetup starts, happy hour is on
- 7:00 PM: Happy hour ends
- 8:00 PM: Official wrap-up, but stay as long as you want
- After 8:00 PM: Karaoke is available if you want to stay. Unfortunately, I’m only a singer in my dreams, but I'll stay to watch if we have singers in the group

Seasoned & Social: A Speed Dating Night
Roxanne's, 1115 E Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA, US**CROSS POSTED IN OTHER GROUPS WITH OTHER ATTENDEES.
For those in a more seasoned stage—think confidence, life experience, and clarity on what you’re looking for.
Ideal for daters in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond who are ready for meaningful conversation, great company, and real connection. But any age may sign up. We also have another dating event this month: Singles & Social: A Speed Dating Night
Speed Dating event for a chance to discover that special someone. If love doesn't find you, you will enjoy a fantastic time and make new friends.
*This is a co-hosted event with my friend Kimberly's group, Long Beach Alcohol Free Activities and Adventures. (This is not an alcohol free event)
We typically have 40-50 attendees.
DATING SUCCESS:
We have hosted over 10 dating events, and connected over 100 couples, with several still going strong—and even one marriage! Let’s keep the excitement going and make more great matches! See pics and videos for past events.
TIMELINE:
7:00 PM or earlier- Arrive and enjoy a beverage or a quick bite
7:15 PM - CUT-OFF FOR ARRIVALS: Arriving any later will prevent you from participating.
9/9:30 PM - After the speed dating event, everyone mingles, fills out Connection Cards, and drops them into the match bags of the people they’re interested in.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Prepare for a fun and energetic atmosphere, perfect for meeting new people from our local community.
During the event, women will be seated on one side of the table, and men on the opposite, and the men will move while the women stay in the same seat. You'll have a brief conversation for a few minutes, and then we'll rotate.
COST:
$20 + fees. Admission comes with a saved seat and one beer, wine, or mocktail. We'll be doing a few raffles to keep it interesting.

Street parking.
EXTRAS:
We will hold our main event at Willy's Tin Shop, one of Roxanne's side bars, which you can access through the small parking lot of Roxanne's. Additional food and beverages, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, can be purchased next door at Roxanne's https://www.rox.bar/ and brought over to Willy's Tin Shop.
