What we’re about
This is a group for people who live with chronic pain. We know how hard it can be to connect with others who understand. Chronic pain is often isolating and depressing. Not only is it often difficult to connect with people who understand, but it can also be challenging to connect with people in general.
This group was created to be an inclusive space for people with chronic pain to connect, socialize, and support each other. All who have chronic pain are welcome. We strive to listen to each other nonjudgmentally and with compassion, share our experiences and ways of coping, and build friendships and community.
Members are expected to be respectful and welcoming to everyone, regardless of race, creed, nationality, sexual orientation, gender or gender expression. We embrace all sexualities, genders, sexes, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds and we do not tolerate any form of discrimination or disrespect.
Please message Mary if you have any questions.
Our hope has always been for this to be a group where people can laugh, cry, vent, and encourage and inspire each other to live as fully as possible.
**Please note: Do not come to the group intending to sell a product or service. You will not be allowed back. (If you want to share information about a particular product that has helped you personally, that's ok as long as you don't have a financial interest in it!)
