Dark Moon/Fall Equinox - Online Ritual

The New Moon or Dark Moon will occur on September 21, 2025 at 1:54PM MT.
The Fall Equinox will occur on September 22, 2025 at 12:19PM MT.

In this online ritual, we will explore the meaning of these astronomical events. The ritual leader, Jo Butler will give historical and folklore tradition about the Dark Moon and Fall Equinox. The Dark Moon phase has been used for reflection and release in one's spiritual practice. The Fall Equinox is a time of balance, harvest, and marks the end of summer. Let's go into these meanings and find how each participant can use this time of year for their personal work. How can you use the cycles of the moon and sun to be more aware of the natural world and perhaps, find serenity and connection?

This ritual will be a little over an hour in length. Jo Butler will present information as a mini-workshop and then ritual, including a guided meditation. You might want to have paper and pen handy. Lighting a candle and having sacred objects nearby may enhance your experience.
