Prior to opening the Original Breakfast House, owner John Stidham owned and operated a dozen restaurant in Northern California, primarily on the Monterey Peninsula. Retiring to Phoenix in 2011, John discovered he missed his lifes work, so sought out a closed up in front of the Rock @ 32nd street, which was a newly rejuvinited shopping center in North Phoenix.
After completely remodeling the premises, he ended up with a vibrant 70’s California beach themed Breakfast joint. We specialize in unique and Original twist on classic dinner food.
Our menu is very diverse, serving a large variety of eggs benedicts, our “now” famous deep fried french toast, wonderful omelets and a selection of mexican style breakfast like; chilaquiles, carne al pastor hash, breakfast enchiladas, and our guadalajara benedict. Seasonal specials are featured throught the year. So there is always a surprise. OBH as its known by locals is constantly rated #1 breakfast in Phoenix, by Google, Yelp and Tripadvisor.
