Local History Keepers and Accountability Circle

I started this group because I have always been fascinated by local history, but I often found myself stuck in the research phase or letting my notes gather dust. This is a space for anyone who is working on a local history project, whether you are writing a book, documenting family lineage, archiving neighborhood changes, or simply trying to organize a collection of historical photos. We are here to move these projects forward through consistent progress and mutual support.

At our meetings, we skip the formal presentations and focus on checking in with one another. We share what we are currently working on, talk through the roadblocks we have hit, and set achievable goals for the following month. The idea is to create a community where we can hold each other accountable, share research tips, and keep the stories of our community alive by actually finishing the work we set out to do.
