Visiting Linz for Ars Electronica? Or simply curious about the city beyond the usual tourist sights?

Join for a relaxed walk around Tabakfabrik and along the Danube, exploring Linz through the eyes of an engineer/data scientist.

We’ll talk about how Linz has evolved from an industrial city into a place shaped by technology, innovation and creative industries — while discovering some of the places where this transformation is happening.

This isn’t a traditional guided tour. Think of it more as a walk with a local: conversation, personal perspectives and an opportunity to meet other internationally minded people visiting or living in Linz.

This is the first Local Perspectives experience — a new concept for discovering cities through the people who live and work in them.
