Hosted in The Taproom at the ever-popular Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, this event features performances by local artists, poets, musicians, comedians, vocalists, and dancers! Our goal is to foster a sense of community, while encouraging creativity and providing a platform for artists to share their art.

A fresh stand-up comedy showcase. Local talent, big laughs, intimate vibe.

Local Variety Co. presents Third Space Comedy — a monthly stand-up comedy event hosted in The Taproom at Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, MI.

First time attending? Great! The Local Variety Comedy Showcase is open to new attendees from Meetup. (The meetup RSVP count is not a reflection of actual attendance; we do ticketing on Eventbrite and same-day ticket sales at the door.)

Each show features a sharp lineup of regional comedians in an intimate space, complete with barrels, string lights, and good energy. We’re here to celebrate local talent and build community through comedy.

Hannah Osborne has been performing all over the Midwest since 2019. She was the 2025 winner of the Detroit to LA contest at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak, Michigan. She has opened for Michael Kosta, Jeff Aurci, Jordan Jensen, and more.

Hannah’s razor-sharp dark humor slices through the chaos of marriage and motherhood. With a knack for finding the absurd in diaper disasters and spousal quirks, her unapologetic takes on suburban life leave audiences howling. When she’s not on stage, Hannah’s wrangling two kids and a husband in Monroe, where she claims her coffee is her only true love.
