Local Variety Co. presents the Local Variety Comedy Showcase — a monthly stand-up comedy event hosted in The Taproom at Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, MI.

First time attending? Great! The Local Variety Comedy Showcase is open to new attendees from Meetup. (We market through other platforms as well. The meetup RSVP count is not a reflection of actual attendance.)

Each show features a sharp lineup of regional comedians in an intimate space, complete with barrels, string lights, and good energy. We’re here to celebrate local talent and build community through comedy.

Darryl Earl is a veteran of comedy for over 25 years, hailing from Detroit, Michigan. His TV appearances include BET Comic View, Robert Townsend’s Partners in Crime, and Next Generation. His performances include appearances at the Comedy Cellar (New York), All Jokes Aside (Chicago/Detroit), Yuk-Yuks Comedy Club (Toronto, Ont.), and Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle (Royal Oak, MI). He taped his first half-hour special for television at Chicago’s Harold Washington Cultural Arts Center. Headliner at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle.
