Join us on Wednesday for a fun paddle up and down the Moke from Lodi Lake to Hwy 99 and back. (approx 6 miles RT)
The river flows have holding steady at about 390 CFS for the last week so the river trail will still have some shallows and snags to navigate but is still enjoyable. Weather has been a factor for the scheduling and it should be cool and clear with cloudy skies and light winds.
We will meet at Lodi Lake Launch in the parking lot (North shore). Cars will need to be removed from the lot by dusk when the lake closes.
Dress for immersion, as always this time of year. Dry gear is recommended and wetsuits are adequate. No cotton clothing, tops or bottoms. Gloves or poggies are good to keep the hands dry.
Personal flotation (PFD's) must be worn and fitted correctly.
Snacks and drinks (non alchoholic) are advised.
Employees of Lodi Paddlesports Center will be paddling with the group to better facilitate their knowledge of the river and provide guidance on paddling strokes and boat handling if requested.
Parking is still $5.00 per car or parking pass. Parking fees can be paid at the entry toll post just across from the kiosk at the entry. Don't miss it, it's a long walk from the launch.
