Logic, Liberty & Inquiry Circle – Berkshire

A small, local circle for analytical, independent-minded adults who want to discuss science, philosophy, psychology, economics, sociology, political ideologies, evolution, anthropology, genetics, AI, human nature, futurism, and the challenges facing civilisation in an atmosphere of genuine open inquiry.

Many contemporary intellectual groups and discussion circles have become constrained by ideological frameworks and moral performance. This group exists to provide a space for evidence-based, logical exploration of ideas — including topics often treated as taboo elsewhere — without those limitations.

The group values free speech, individual liberty, and a clear-eyed view of social cohesion and high-trust societies. We are particularly interested in the erosion of civil liberties, pressures on free speech, departure from the values that created the greatest civilisation in the West in human history, the influence of identity politics, and victim culture.

This is not a general social group or a space for ideological activism. We keep membership deliberately small so that regular attendees can get to know one another well and enjoy consistent, high-quality conversation at local pubs. New members are approved after answering a short set of questions to ensure a good fit with the group’s tone and purpose.
