Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)

Yep, we're into the Trump era of New York and the undead era of Jason Voorhees, who comes back from his death at the end of Part VII in a hellish mood, hitching a boat ride to 80s NYC and causing havoc (how can anyone tell the difference, etc, etc.) and giving local boy Patrick Bateman a run for his money. Moral of the movie? DON'T challenge Jason to a boxing match, no matter how well trained you are.

Anyway, it's a bit of laid back, low-stress summer fun. There will be laughs, there may be gasps, there will definitely be drinks afterwards.
