One of the all-time camp classics, I've been waiting for a cinema release of Mommie Dearest for years and here it is! Faye Dunaway plays Joan Crawford (who by this time wasn't around to sue) in an adaptation of adopted daughter Christina's autobiography, which made all kinds of wild allegations - mainly that Joan was a sadistic, alcoholic control freak.
The movie could have been a restrained biopic but instead went completely the other way, throwing any trace of subtlety or restraint to the wind, anchored by an overacting performance for the ages from Dunaway. You'll never look at a wire coathanger the same way again!

Tickets here, I'm in F21. We can meet in the NFT Bar afterwards to dissect the movie over a drink.
