The Bug Club

Details
I saw the second half of The Bug Club's set at End of the Road recently and it reminded me how much better their songs work in a live context, where their low-fi garage punk mutates into hard-edged mutant blues rock punctuated by short solos by guitarist Sam Willmett and bassist Tilly Harris. Both of whom can really play.
Anyway, the band are doing a few shows at the Moth Club, for my money the city's best venue for guitar music. And since they tend to work best in small spaces, they should be brilliant shows. This one sees them supported by Welsh language pop rockers Adwaith. Here's a reminder of what The Bug Club sound like.
