Croydon PrideFest 2025

Details
Croydon Pride in 2025 is back in Wandle Park with a parade!
Less corporate, more community than the big Pride in central London; no parade floats. A stage of live acts, speeches. Meet other bi+/queer locals! Its a FREE event in its 9th year. We're more noticeable in smaller-scale, friendlier, more community-focused Prides like this.
Parade info below, then Festival info.
⚫ Agenda:
We parade from the high street to the festival.
11.15-30am: Meet outside Marks and Spencer, North End, with banners, placards, flags, badges, pride outfits - whatever you have (dogs welcome but not in the park). Look for bi flags/umbrellas/banner to find us if its your first time/ask a steward. Arrive by 11:30 so we can set up and get enough wristbands!
11:30am Prep (more advice/requirements at their page for it)!
12pm ish: Parade, led by mayor; Park opens and festivities begin
~12:45-1pm - parade arrives in Park (see Park Festival info below).
8.30pm: close
We plan to march, with flags - maybe (if enough people) one or both of our GIANT (5 meter) Bi/Pan flags, which need 6-8 people per flag. Otherwise banner(s), a flagpole, placards, flags (we can give/sell some flags).
The parade is from M&S on North End to the park (croydonpride.org.uk/whats-on/parade-route/), as per 2023:
Past North End shops, then at the end turn right down Church Street, pausing while trams are temporarily halted. Then onto Cairo New Road, underneath Jubilee Bridge onto Lower Church Street. A left turn to Waddon New Road, until the stairs * onto the railway bridge into the park.
